Miss Marian L. Clark
Miss Clark B. A., M. A. University of Toronto, has taught in Sarnia but she likes the smaller schools better for in the~'the tea6her gets to know her pupils better.
Her hobbies are collecting souvenirs, spoons, rea0ing, cooking and travelling. She has already travelled widely on this continent and would like to visit the other count- ries of The Commonwealth. ". "
In our "beef" section Miss ClarI{ says that students attempt too much and she might agree with us that they often achieve too little.
She adds that the young people of to-day have improved in their social contacts and their relationships with one another.
Miss Clark Teaches Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry and has probably done more than anyone in Collingwood to- ward producing more clear and cioncise t h inking Canadians.
When I asked her what she thought of activities out- side of academi"c work, she replied, "TheY're good if they don't interfere 'too much with school work and they are a method of showing initiative."
