  22:
Mr. J. H. Sutherland
Mr. Sutherland has impregnated the essentials of English into the often capable but sometimes meek heads
of the grade niners and taught grade ten Geography and History for the past year. He received his B.A. in Tor-
onto in 1947.
He likes amateur photography and reads a great deal. When I asked his opinion of student activities he
replied: ?lThey are important, they aid in adult adjust- ments and increase our capacity to work with others in
teamwork. ;,
His only critizism of our school Bvents is that they
are poorly publicized and many people learn of school dances and the work of the Drama Club only by chance.
