"Hey, Steve, the train'11 be fifteen minutes late," the night attendant yelled as Steve Conn pulled his army surplus truck to a halt.
Steve nodded then slouched behind the wheel to wait the passipg of the night train. As he extracted a cigar- ette and pushed in the lighter on the panel, his thoughts flew to next town.
Marie would be waiting for him at Tony's. Picking
up these packages for Mr. Farrow would be his last job for the next two weeks. Two weeks to be devoted to Marie, to their honeymoon.
Steve glanced at his watch then turned on the radio just in time to hear the tail-end of the eleven o'clock
