Oh, I someday want a home
Out where the wee rabbits roam.
A cottage set among the tall trees
v'l/he,re sweet scents waft upon the breeze.
A home with a rose arbor white
Upon a hill, a lake in sight
A home where swallows circle the s~y And I may hear the killdeer's cry.
A home with tulips of every hue
And later on, hollyhocks too.
And when I'm old beside the fire
All I'll ask is the small cricket's choir.
For these are Nature's very own And given to us only on loan Given to us by God above
Given to us, to have and love.
So that's why I want a home
Out where the wee rabbits roam
A home among ITature I s creature s small Out where the sweet wild birdies call.
