A Message From The Principal To the Editor of the Gleaner:
:nt is a pleasure and an honour to have the opportunity of writ- ing a foreword for the Gle;aner. rwe know that you and your staff have spent many hours and have done much work in presenting t his year's edition. Please accept our •con:graJtulations. We are ple1ased to have the Stayner and Creemore Ec.hools share in the production of this issue.
Each year sees many pupils leave the Schools, some as gradu!lltes, and some as undergradu'ates. To all these, we would wish the best oll success. We earnestly hope tbat a good number of grllidua.tes go on to further education, because your Country can absorb any number of trained professional and technical workers and there is much op- portunity for you.
We are sure that you are interested in the new central school. It will be the last word in utility and beauty, and.it will serve this dist- rict for many decades. As the building is being !planned, so is the pro- gramme, and many hundreds of boys .and girls will have greater edu- cationJal opportunities right at home. It is an investment which will pay handsome dividends for many years.
