To all readers of the 1954-55 edition of "The Gleaner" I bring greetings from the ristric; Board of the c.n.c.I.
I am particularly anxious at this time to extend
the congratulations of the Board to the Editor
and staff of "The Gleaner" for the production
of this splendid Year Book. A yearly record, such
as this, makes a very real and valuable contribution to the student life of the C.D.C.I.
The past year has been a time of transition and orientation. Much gratifying progress has been made toward our common goal of making the c.n.c.I. a "model" school. The building itself and its appointments have already been recognized by
world aut~orities on education as being among the best to be found anywhere. A replica of our school building is on display in GenevaJ Switzerland,
among the exhibits of the International Educational Association.
May we e.ll keep in mind the fact that our ultimate aim must always be to win recognition for the excellence of our achievements ib the field of education. By this recognition alone will be realized the true success of our 11big venture"- the c.n.c.r.
G. B. iYheeler, Chairman,
Board of Education.
