In December the sale of schoo~ Christmas Cards in the various forms was successful., 'T'he strain of "'"V"',.,.~ was soon forgotten in the whirl of social activities which heralded the Christmas holidays., For the Christmas formal , t he gvm ~·as beautifully decorated, and the cafeteria was converted in~o
a festive-looking banquet hall--another example of the uri- failing work of the social convenors.,

but also from enjoyable times had by the st udent sn
The Council's work has not been centred around merely
supplying entertainment; it has endeavoured to support va~i0119 school prganizations; the Athletics ' So"iet~P ~ Ra~1, Camt?r a ,..,1'lb, Gleaner, and Drama CLub., It has also spo'lsored a "Nieke] day", to raise money for the Junior Red Cross and ts lnokin~ forward to rendering aid to "Care"&
