Badminton Dance
On January 27, 1961, the Badminton Club sponsored one of the most successful dances of the term. Everyone who attended enjoyed dancing to records spun by Wally Parker of C KBB radio. We are hoping for more dances of this same calibre.
The ~~Twirp'' Dance
"We're here • • • we're there • • • we're everywhere-- SO BOYS BEWME! II
These were the words that the girls of C.D.C . I.
were waiting for. Twirp season had begun--that meant they could ask any boy of their choice to the dance- the only catch being that 'the woman is required to pay'. The G.A.A., who sponsored the dance, were pleased to see their treasury augmented by the large turn-out. Many skiers, by the way, were billeted in Coli ingwood that weekend, and attended this dance.
