The two weeks spent at 0 .A.L.C. shall never be forgotten by a camper. This experience is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity and is of great benefit to the individual. Many new friends are made and a variety of new activities are learned.
The most interesting part of the camp is the numerous sports in which the campers are able to take part. These include basketball, tennis1 track and field1 swimming1 archery1 volleybal11 folk-dancing1 badminton and apparatus work. The fundamentals of the sports are learned and then the art of teaching these skills to another person is prac- tised. Great stress is placed upon evaluating each experience and activity and thus the camper learns how to crit- icize tactfully and to improve his instructing methods.
It is certain that the time spent at 0 .A .L .C. will have a lasting effect upon a person's life and we are bath greatly honoured to have been given the privilege of attending.
