PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
G.A.A.
During recent years, the Girls 1 GBSSAA Basketball teams have steadily improved. This year, with Miss Love as their coach, they claim the victory of having won the Georgian Bay District Championship for the seniors while the JuniorS put forth thei r time and effort well spent. We are justly proud of them.
The intramural program began with the Volleyball tournament curator, Judy Culham; assisted by Helen Connor showed their organizational ability through the fact that there was not one defaulted game. The intramural basket- ball is now in progress with Sue Smith as curator.
This year Twirp Season was introduced to the CDCI for the first time. Under the capable leadership of Mrs. Black and Vice President, Judy Hawman, this social event was a tremendous success.
I would Iike to thank the students for their co-operation and to hope that the GAA will continue to proviCJe-:- sports interests and entertainment for the CDCI in the future.
