The Senior Girls' Basketball Team made an appearance after a year's absence. For the first time the league was divided in two, each school playing a home and home series. The team made an impressive start by defeating Orillia Park 32-6, and

later in the season defeated their arch rivals, Stayner in both games. Unfortun- ately, the team lost to Orillia Collegiate and Barrie North, to end up in third place.
The team wishes to thank Mrs . Russell for her coaching, Miss Shaw for refereeing, and Sandra Weir for being a playing manager.
