DONALD ELLIS
Since sport has been a major in- terest during his years at C.C.l., it seems only logical that Donald shou ld be considering Physical Education of the University of Toronto. He will be remembered here for his prowess on the football field, the volleyball and basketball courts, on the ski hill, and in the curling rink.
RUTH JOHNSTON
A steady, hard working student of C.C.l. Ruth has porlicipoted in intramural sports for several years. Other activ ities have included skiing and ha'd work on the ad- vertising staff of the Gleaner. Next year Ruth plans to study nursing at the Orillia General Hospital.
ROSEMARY FAUBERT
Although Rosemary has left us to attend Orillia C.V.l., she will be remembered here as a good over- ag e student with a good v ariety of extra-curricular interests. During her stay here, she was interested in basketball, volleyball, skiing, band, and was a member of the G.A.A. Executive. We have no in- formation on Rosemary's future plans.
CYNTHIA HACKING
This year Cynthia served as our v e r y capable Gleaner editor working constantly to produce a successful yearbook. As well as maintaining very favourable marks throughout her high school years, she managed to find lime for acting in our Drama Club and for manag- ing our C.O.S.S.A. volleyball and basketball teams. Curling and skiing were also pastimes for Cynthia. Next year Cynthia plans to take an Honour History course at U. ofT.
DENNISKIRBY
One of our lop Latin scholars, Dennis has managed to maintain above average marks throughout high school. Besides this, he has found time for intramural sports, hockey, and skiing. He is also one of the lead clarinet players in C. C. I.'s Concert Band. Future plans
for Dennis are not positively decided, but he hopes eventually to study law at the University of Western Ontario.
MARY LEITHEAD
Mary has been an honour student throughout each grade in C.C.I. and has also managed to maintain an equally successful extra-curricu- lar schedule. She has participated in intramural sports, badminton, skiing and public speaking. Along with this she is a member of the school band,G.A.A., Executive,and Gleaner staff. Mary plans to take on Honour Arts course at the Uni- versity ofToronto.
PATRICIA HODGINS
A charming and capabl e student (occasionally orgum enlalive). Pat- ricia possesses an enviabl e aca- demic record at C.C.l. In oadition to her academic achievement, she has been active in Student Council and in public speaking. She plans to take a course in modern languages at Brescia College in London.
ELEANOR HOOD
"Nonie" has been one of our ha rder worki ng students in her year at C.C.I. A well-liked Stayner stu- dent, her work included positions on the G.A.A. Executive, the Yearbook staff. She was a member of the ski and curling clubs. Eleanor hopes to take a home economics course at McDonald Institute in Guelph.
