Midget Basketball

This was a good year for the Midget Basket- ba~l team.Although at times it appeared as though defeatwere certain, the team finally reached the playoffs with Barrie North. In a hotly contested game, the Midgets handed the hitherto undefeated Barrie team its first and greatest loss.
Having won the central G. B.S. S. A. competi- tion, the team now advanced to the finals of the District. Although the boys did not win, they played well and gained further recognition for the school.
The Midgets are justly proud of their record of nine victories in a total of fifteen games during the season. Credit and thanks go to Mr. Kemp for his patient and untiring efforts as coach.
