Chairman's Message
So much has been said and is being said in regard to education that a student is apt to become confused, if not dismayed. Many courses with accompanying options are offered in our schools today and many more are being planned for tomorrow. The result is frustration for pupils and parents and for guidance teachers the challenge lies in keeping up with the times.
To set a course which will bring satisfaction in relation to the pupil's ability and particular talents is the task of educators. To follow a course which challenges the highest ambitions, demands integrity in the training and development of talents and aptitudes, is the privilege of every student. En- couraged by teacher and parent alike to rely on his or her own intelligence, exploring possibilities, making wise and careful choices--thus the learner becomes the learned. And in the world of man is existence is not wholly justified by his ability to enhance his own position but rather in what he is able to do for his fellow man.
