The boys' junior basketball team had a very suc- cessful season despite the fact that they did not make the playoffs. The team won five out of the eight games played. They defeated Penetang and Alliston twice and Barrie North once. Collingwood suffered a heart- breaking loss to Orillia Part Street. With this loss, their playoff chances diminished.
Don Gallacher w au the highest scorer on the team with ninety-three points, Dave M c D air mid was next with fifty-eight and Doug Mcinnis was third with forty- three. These players were a b 1y backed by the rest of the team. The coach, Mr. Aikens, deserves much of the credit for the fine showing made by the team.
