The Cheerleaders experienced one of their best seasons this year. The team picked in June '67 consisted of eight enthusiastic girls who worked hard all summer and early school months. We were rewarded with new uniforms consisting of gold tunics and black accessories.
We have participated in almost everything this year including assemblies, soccer games, football, basketball and volleyball games. In October we attended a cheerleader convention in Scarborough and came home with lots of new ideas. We had our pep rally in November and hope to have another one in January. We also hope to host a cheer- leader competition in the spring.
We would like to thank Mrs. Hughes for her endless support and enthusiasm as well as you the students who have helped make this a successful and enjoyable year both for us anaour teams.
