WOMEN
What is the actual meaning of the word woman? Is it some strange, mysterious animal? Woman is generally described as an adult female "person." The general concept adopted by society is that woman is the picture of daintiness and represents the culture of the world today. She is the organizer of all household activities, supposedly!
Can woman ever becpme the equal of man? Since ancient times women have held a position generally inferior in power and authority to that of man. In recent times, however, she is always trying to prove that she is capable of doing everything the
male can attempt. It seems to me that no matter how hard women try they can never prove to be the complete equal. They usually end up making complete fools of them- selves. Mind you, you must never tell that to a woman unless you plan to sleep on
the couch or not be spoken to. Perhaps it would be safe only to say that the posi-
tion of women everywhere depends to a great extent on her economic value.
The differentiation of labour between men and women in primitive civilizations was generally clear, and was respected by both parties with religious exactness.
The man put the food on the table and the women had the babies and looked after the household chores. Now, however, women feel they are capable of supporting themselves without the help of men. I feel that women should be given the chance to be inde- pendent but how long can this last before they come crying back to their masters? I
say masters because it is "man" not women who are the dominant sex! I say dominant sex because it is man who plants the fertile seed of life and runs the world around
us. Why should women receive all the credit? All they do is have the children and
persist at nagging you for the rest of your life!
All women are spoiled from birth and given their own way. They are professional cons "AL W A YS" taking advantage of us men. First they lure you with their painted faces and sweet smelling perfumes until they have you wrapped around their little finger. Once we are hooked "God Help Us." One thing leads to another until you discover your pocketbook is empty and there is a dazzling ring on her finger. Where
did you go wrong? Next thing you know you are married with a dozen kids running and screaming around your feet. Your sweet, lovable fiance has turned into a cold cream monster always complaining of headaches and the amount of work which she has to do. No wonder men get ulcers! Beware, men! Stay ahead of these scheming culprits. Let them think you know who is boss, even though you're not quite sure yourself. Perhaps the advice that man should receive at birth is contained in these few verses:
There is nothing to a man so dear
As a woman's love so close and near, Until the time that she decides
That to her command you must abide. At this time we men must rebel
Against her soap and perfume smell.
She must learn that your word is law Even if it means a lecture from her maw. For our beliefs we must stand tall
And show these women for once and all That to be equal with our manly race They must be wise and keep their pace.
