LIFE CYCLE
The sun shone down on beauty and life Man had just begun his strife;
He struggled endlessly for survival; And he defeated his every rival.
His civilized world spread far and wide Like the rush of an oncoming tide.
He explored the distant, mysterious lands . And shaped their future with his hands.
The world, now a divided sphere, With races and cultures far and near; And wars have often broken out Leaving death to mark the route.
And now, again, the sun shines down,
On the worldly beauty where man has reigned . And although man has been the master race, He's led himself to ruin and waste.
