The 1973 Gl4~aner Has Been An
Astounding Success
Of course, there are people that were on the Gleaner staff that did a great deal of work to make this yearbook what it is.
The co-ordination of Mr. Minardi set the pace for the book's outcome. His enthusiasm rubbed off onto the Gleaner staff and he "guided" us when necessary. Thank you Mr. Minardi, you are largely responsible for the book.
The advertising team did just a super job! They combed the town for over $2400.00. Mr. Truscott and his team really deserve a lot of credit.
The sales of the Gleaner was the highest on record-- over 650. Mr. Traynor and Scott Tudor along with the reps are responsible for this figure . Good work fellas!
Then you have the layout. With the constant supply of photos from Mr. Kilgour and Mr. Fogg, the layout team had to put the book together. Sharon Reid was the kingpin in this department. If any individual was responsible for the completion of the book, it's her. She spent two hours of her time on the Gleaner every school day since last Decem- ber. To you Sharon goes the annual MVP on the Gleaner staff.
Of course there are other people that worked hard on the book: Kim Cornell, Joy Stuckum, Jennifer Kraan, Mr. Kenney, Mike McArthur and Mr. Dykstra.
This has been a fine experience for the people involved because it's the most money brought in by the advertising team, it's the largest amount of sales ever, it's been completed on the deadline day, it's here on schedule and we made a profit. All these accomplishments have not been experienced in the past. I hope you enjoy the Gleaner of all Gleaners.
