JUNIOR GIRLS' BASKETBALL

The Junior Girls' Basketball Team put forth an ex- cellent effort this year. The team's record was four wins and three losses giving them a fourth place finish in the league. Collingwood defeated Base Borden in the first round of play-offs but lost a closely contested match against Barrie Central in an attempt to qualify for G.B.S.S.A.
The juniors also took part in tournament at Stayner. The girls scored a victory against Flesherton in the first game and lost by just one point against Penetanguishene in a bid for the finals.
Let's hope in the 1974 season that our team has continued success.
