The Curling Club was active on Wednesday afternoons with thirty-six students participating in peak season. This is a definite increase in enrollment, as compared to last year's club, and shows an increase in the popularity of curling at C.C.I.
This year was the first in many that we entered a Girls' Team in the G.B.S.S.A. Bonspiel in Barrie. Although the team played well, they were defeated by some very strong competition.
Injuries and illness plagued the Boys' Team, but this did not dampen their enthusiasm. The Boys' entered four major bonspiels this year with limited success in each.
The Curling Team would like to extend its appreciation to Coaches Shackell, Edwards, and Brock for their fine instruction.
