                 TECHNICAL DEP ARTMENT
MR. TRANTER ·head of the technical department, teaches elec- tricity and electronics and has been here ten years. Mr. Tranter en- joys skiing, sailing, making wine, and going back to school. Other professions which attract him are being a sociologist and doing re- search.
MR. RICKETTS -came to C.C.I. from Almaguin Highlands S.S. in South River this year to teach building construction. He has super- vised craft project activities in the shop, and participated in the ski club. Mr. Ricketts enjoys building things such as furniture and boats. His interest in individual sports is reflected in the activities he pre- fers outside school-skiing, boating, hiking and camping.
MR. SINCLAIR -teaches automotive and woodshop. He has been here eight years. A coach of the cross-country ski team, Mr. Sin- clair is a fine cross-country skier himself.
MR. VANDEWEERDHOF -has been here ten years. He teaches drafting, and was once a mechanical engineer. He finds flag football, the Key Club, painting, reading, and jogging to be fun.
