        Senior Girls Team
Mine!
C.C.I. girls formed a midget volleyball team for the first time in 1976/77. The students had an excellent beginning season. The team defeated Eastview, Stayner, Bradford, Alliston, North, and St. Joseph's. All the girls worked
hard and improved their skills tremendously.
The team missed fourth spot in the playoffs by 2 points. We're looking forward to an even stronger performance next year.
This year the Junior Girls Volleyball team got off to a slow start. However, as the season progressed, so did the team's skill. They just missed a playoff position by a total of 4 game points. The girls are to be congratulated on their hard work, good playing, and good sportsman- ship. A special "thank-you" to Patti Bowden, manager, and Pat Kloos, scorer.
This season began with the Sr. Girl's Volleyball team "serving" their school well. We are happy to say that much enthusiasm was created by our earnest supporters;
manager MacEachern and bench warmers, "Bubbles" Judges, "Sleepy" Duda, and the Vander Vechte, however, we are not sure about our coach who appeared rather bias at
times. Because of the unity "Capt'n" Crysler, "Miss Mew" MacLean, "Radar" Pearen, Winnerwurst" Knill, "Zippedy
Szuta", and "Hotstuff" Hawton, we thought we were "tops"! Although we didn't make the finals'we give spe- cial thanks to "Radar" Pearen's socks which stood up for us until then the end!
