This years Midget Girls' Volleyball Team had an outstanding season. The girls barrelled through the league losing only one game to Alliston. Their excellent play put them in first place at the end of regular season. At the zone finals Collingwood defeated Alliston and Barrie North to earn a place in the G.B.S.S.A. finals--a feat that has not been achieved for the last eight years!
The G.B.S.S.A. tournament was held in Midland this year. The Collingwood squad worked very hard and made it to the semi-finals.
The girls played Brock in this match and lost two very close games 16-14 and 15-13.
Every member of the team had something to contribute and the girls are to be congratulated on their fine effort.
