H. G. Wells? The Time Machine? What was life really like 300 years ago?? (in Ontario) Several Grade 13 Geography students had the opportu· nity to return to our past. They spent 3 days at Ste. Marie Among the Hurons. Not a holiday, really, splitting wood for the fires; nor preparing all their own meals. Doesn't the food look great?? They also made nails in the blacksmith shop and went snowshoeing. An interesting, survival trip into our past, and lots of fun too.
