The Mountaineers had a fine season. During the regular schedule they finished 3rd. They quali- fied fo~ the zone championships and emerged as champions. On Nov. 1, 1979, they journeyed to Alliston to contest the G.B.S.S.A.; but, unfortu- nately, they were narrowly defeated by O.D.C.V.I. in the final match.
The Midget Boys' Volleyball team had a fantastic season this year. A relatively inexperienced team devoted a tre- me~do_us amount o~ time and effort into putting together a wmnmg combmat1on. The boys came first in their zone and were defeated in a close match at the GBSSA finals. Congratulations boys!
