        COLLINGWOOD COLLEGIATE BAND
Compliments of
STUART ELLIS I.D.A. PHARMACY LTD. 445-4711
163 Hurontario St., Collingwood.
Over the past year, we, the band, have participated in several school projects such as Variety Night, Commence- ment, and Christmas assemblies. As participants in these activities we feel we are being active members of the school and are supporting school spirit.
Not only do we participate in school activities, but, over the past year, we have conducted concerts for elementary schools in our area. Such functions as the Area Four Music Festival, allow the youngsters to become acquainted with the instruments of the band. Also, we regularly play at the Shipyards. This year we helped launch the new Algoma and will play in April for the new hall.
We have arranged several fund raising activities in the past, to enable us to participate in an exchange. Through the hard work of the band members, we were able to raise some money in our light bulb campaign. In the near future we hope to put on a Fowl Supper. All money raised is to be used in our exchange with Overlea Secondary School from Don Mills.
Through our past endeavours we were able to win many awards at Kiwanis Music Festival, and move up into the "A" class.
