BAND AND CHOIR
The past year was a busy one for C.C.I.'s band.
One of the first activities was playing for the launch at the Collingwood Shipyard, which now has become a customary performance. The band also visited Not- tawa public school and Senior public school, here we played a variety of music. We will also be playing for Senior Public's Graduation Ceremonies in June.
Of course, the highlight of our entire season was our involvement in the school's production of the musical "Guys and Dolls." All the members were glad to see it through to its conclusion.
In addition to the bands performances, we also conducted a Sweep-a-than. The members cleaned up the garbage on main street. From this we received enough money to visit the CN Tower and to see the musical "Annie."
The band had a very busy season and we hope next year will be just as enjoyable and eventful.
