GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The Senior Girls' Fighting Owls Volleyball Team had an excellent season improving their league ranking by two positions (last year sixth -- this year fourth).
They compiled a regular season record of seven wins and two losses with an overall record (including tournaments and exhibition matches) of 18-11-3.
In spite of late season injuries to three starters they performed extremely well at

the Zone Championships placing first in their pool before being eliminated in the semi-finals by Barrie Eastview.
Those seniors who are graduating this year include: Co-Captain Gayle Linton, Corry Ruppert, Liane Daigle, Krista Lockhart and Cheryl Deveau. Best of luck girls!
The junior girls team had a slow start but finished in 6th place to make zone playoffs. A l l the teams in the league were

closely matched which made for long and exciting matches.
The girls participated in three tour- naments, St. Theresa's, our Blue Mountain Invitational and Barrie Cen- tral's tournament.
What the girls lacked in height, they made up for in determination and hard work.
Best of luck in the future and keep "spiking".
