STUDENTS COUNCIL
As I sit here underneath the newly painted psychedelic ceiling, I can't help but think of all the interesting events that began within these four walls. When I leave this school, I will surely be leaving a lot of memories in this room. This is where it all began - Great Niners' Day, Carnation sales, Theme days, the Christmas float, the Citrus campaign, the Formal, assemblies, United Appeal, Fun in the Sun, and of course, the many and diverse dances!
One thing is certain, and that is that the Student Council has had a fantastic time bringing you all the activities that we did -- I think that it has been a cultural growth experience for us all! We hope that you have had as much fun as we have had this year, as it is you, the students, that make all the hard work worthwhile.
On behalf of the Student Council, I'd like to thank the staff advisors, and all those who diligently donated their time at dances, early in the mornings, late at night, or even during class time. (funny how that was always the easiest time to get volunteers!)
But, most of all, I'd like to thank the students -- it's been an ex- traordinary year!
