Since 1969 the Prefect Organization has been a tradition at C.C.I. They have upheld the school spirit of Collingwood Collegiate through special events such as fund raisers, school sports and academic events. The Prefects also perform a variety of duties during school time as cafeteria and dances and in general making sure C.C.I. is smoothly operated .
The Prefect Organization is comprised of appro. 50 senior students who have demonstrated leadership abilities. Throughout the year the Prefects help the school and the community through citrus drives and canvassing for the United Way. The Prefects demonstrate C.C.I.'s school spirit as they are always willing to lend a helping hand. But the Prefects couldn't be successful without the
help of our staff advisors Mr. D. Chandler and Mr. J. Sneyd. A strong vote of thanks must go to these two teachers who devote much of their time and patience throughout the year .
Finally, Alex and Sabrina would like to thank the whole organization for the cooperation and excellent job that they have performed through the year of 1985-861t has been an enjoyable and memorable year and I am sure that we will never forget it.
