     The Midget Boys Basketball Tearn once again represented C.C.I. well by defeating Bradford in a sudden death game to earn a 3rd place standing. They then met a strong Midland team in the quarter finals, thereby ending their season.

The Jr. Boys team had one terrific year. With a season record of 15 wins and 2 losses, the team became the Simcoe County Champions as well as GBSSA finalists.

The Sr. Boys Basketball team had a successful year with 6 wins and 4losses. Unfortunately, they lost in the playoffs to the GBSSA finalists. The C.C.I. Srs. were led by Simcoe County All-Star ANDREW TOP and Collingwood McDonalds Invitational All -Star MIKE AIKENS. Captain ANDREW TOP led C.C.I. in scoring and rebounding while MIKE AIKENS had a very strong season playing a dual role as guard and for- ward Graduating Srs. DA VE MARTIN ran the offence and SCOTT MCKEAN played a very strong playoff game .
Highlights of the year included being Penetang Invitational finalists and McDonalds consolation finalists.
