The league's structure, the opposition, the format and not making the play-offs were all different components of the 1986-1987 volleyball season . Most im- portantly , however , the boys had a great athletic experience. The favourite saying was "Are we in the play-offs or not?" The coaches would reply "If we win the next game we will." Well, we fell short of post-season play , but don't despair -- there is always next year. Thanks guys!

This year's Junior Boys Volleyball team was one of the most successful and ddicated teams in recent years.
The team came first in their zone with an 8-2 record.
Of the three tournaments the boys entered, they won the consolation in one and were the semi-finalists in the other two.
The team proceeded to win the Simcoe County champion- ships in Midland, followed by an easy victory in G.B.S.S.A. finals .
