THE WAY WE WANTED IT TO BE
There are so many ways
to say it,
But all don't come too clear, So many ways to let you know ,
I long to have you near.
They said that we weren't good for each other,
They said we should not be. But we knew the way,
And they just couldn't see.
They tried to keep us apart, Away from each other forever.
But never would that be, As long as we kept
together .
Some said that it was right, Some said that it was wrong. We let them know the
way it was,
And now that way is strong.
We are together happily now, The way we wanted
it to be.
The way it was in the beginning,
