Jim's retirement tea A gift from the staff
Mr. Jim Mcinnes, our Area Head Custodian, had been at Collingwood Collegiate for 31 years. Jim retired on Feb. 27, 1987, after a long & faithful service to our school. Jim took much pride in keeping our school immaculate and was always willing to give assistance to anyone wishing maintenance work done in the office area, the classroom, or the school in general.
Jim was very active in the Association for the Mentally Retarded, serving on the Executive for many years. As well, he organized Floor Hockey games and tour- naments for these special people and gave of his time & energy to make it a better world for them.
Jim and his wife Arlie have two sons and two lovely granddaughters, whom they hope to spend more time with now that he is retired. Jim will be missed by C.C.!. staff and students but we all wish him well and hope he has a long and happy retirement.
MR. MOORE SPEAKS OUT ...
The positive atmosphere, friendly and co-operative students, the professional and dedicated staff as well as the high-quality and diver- sity of the programs are all aspects of C.C.!. of which Mr. Moore is pleased. The only thing that he doesn't like about our school is the fact that when the building was designed, no thought was given to the fact that people need places to congregate and socialize when not in class.
