Sorry to have disillusioned you. That odd little bird is not truly alive. Ozzie is no more than a hollow form in which a man exists. He is an illusion, nothing more than a deceptive image.
Unlike Santa Claus' qualities, the pure and ideal traits associated with the owl's image are attainable. Wisdom can be obtained only if and when we dare to be wise.
I still believe in Santa Claus despite cruel reality and rumours which disclaim of the man's existance. I believe in the power of an image, of a hero and a legend. So too do I believe in the power of wisdom.
Make an effort to do your best and to uphold the status of the owl. Your mother, and the bird, will love you for it.
Please don't let it be true! Trent Price has been inside o f Ozzie all o f this time? What a way to destroy an image . . . to reveal that there really is some one in there. Considering how hot it must have been, Trent deserves some recognition.
