                    Wise students return home from
all over Canada for an evening ofhonour.
n Oct. 17th, 1987 Collingwood OCollegiate honoured their gradu- ating students with a formal presen- tation of well-deserved awards, diplomas, scholarships and bursaries. Over 300 grads were ushered into the familiar processional of "Pomp and Circumstance" before a packed audience of proud teachers, family and friends. After hearing messages from various Board members, local dignitaries and our Principal, Mr. Moore, each grad was called to the stage individual- ly to receive his award. Ted Knude, our Stu- dent Council President, presented several students with Student Council Letters as recognition for their dedication and hard work while at C.C.I. The highlight of the evening was Mary Anne Willis' Valedic- torian Address to her classmates. A recep- tion in the new gymnasium afterwards allowed guests, staff and students an oppor-
tunity to renew old friendships and exchange greetings for one last time.
