CURING
For the second year in a row, the students and staff of C. C. I. have fought off those winter blahs that hit many of us during the middle of the season by participating in an excellent Elective program. Every Tuesday afternoon everyone at school was encouraged to participate in any one of a wide range of activities. If you felt that the winter blues were best fought indoors, then you might have enrolled in computers, make-up1 hairdressing , cards , imagina- tion garres , movie reviews, poetry writing o~ even short-wave radio . The list could gO) on and on. The Elective pro- gram allqwed each of us to escape from our nor · al routine, learn many new
skills or perhaps just 'bone up' on some old ones. It definitely was one terrific way to cure those winter blahs!!!
Tuesday afternoons will always be remembered by those members of the C.C.I. Ski Club. Under the direction of Mr . Sproule , almost 400 avid skiers took to the slopes throughout the winter season. The club gave many an oppor- tunity to participate in this sport at a most reasonable rate.
