SEARS ONTARIO DRAMA FESTIVAL "Was She Sown or Was She Reaped?"
C.C.I. was well represented at this years Sears Ontario Drama Festival. The Drama troupe came away with the most awards ever achieved by one school! The awards were:
1. "Outstanding Performance Award" - Rebecca Kosmos
2. "Award of Merit" for the overall quality of the performance.
3. Excellence in "Technical Achievement Award" given for the set design and
costumes.
4. "Solo Adjudicators Award" was won by Student director Janna Erichson-Brown.
Janna was recognized for being the only student director in the entire festival. The crew for the production was Geoff Doner, Michael Doupe, and Tara Gignac. Todd Headen capably filled the role of set designer and stage manager. Many thanks also to Mrs. Chandler for her continued support. The time and experiences we all shared will
never be forgotten. As far as I'm concerned everyone involved shone like a star!!
