No matter what team a C. C. I. athlete might be on, the demands of that sport on that person are tremendous. It extends much further than simply showing up for a game in uniform. It takes hours of practice both before and after school as well as time spent in weekend tour- naments. It means participation in a practice or game in spite of horrendous weather conditions. It means run- ning that last extra lap when all the body wants to do is recline in a big easy chair with the feet up. It means standing in a hot shower in order to relieve those tired, aching muscles. It means playing a late game and then burning the midnight oil on an essay that is due in class the following day. Do C.C.I. athletes really have what it takes! You'd better believe it! After all, IT'S WHAT'S IN- SIDE THAT COUNTS!
