When Collingwood Collegiate sets out to have a theme dance, it goes all the way! The proper ambience was created with dim lights, cobwebs and a coffin in the front lob- by along with eerie coloured lights in the old gym. 'The Beat' deejay service provided music to add to the mood, but the entire scene was tied together by the people that showed up in costume and disguise. A lot of time and effort was obviously put into each and every costume and everyone was left guessing all night about who was who. Some of the more noted examples were Rien Meesters and Jay Grainger as 'Popeye

and Olive Oil', Chris and Tim O'Neill as '60's hippies, THE 'Balloon Ladies', and Carole Bird, commonly referred to as 'The Sock Lady'!
These and many others made the dance and the whole Hallowe'en theme a great success, but all knew that even though we were wearing rubber masks, we knew 'IT'S WHAT'S INSIDE THAT COUNTS!'

TOP ACROSS: (Jeff Truscott rides as the Lone Ranger while Peter Smith tries to catch a few waves. BOT. LT.: "Calling Dr. McLernon, Dr. McLernon "BOT. MID.: Did Brighty Risk get a little carried away and forget about unsightly make-up lines? Not really, he's in keeping with the Batman theme of the year by posing as 'The Jokers'. BOT. RT.: "gee, you make good cookies, Mr. Christie, I mean, Mr. Scott Morgan"!
It's What's Inside Hallowe'en! 147
