On Friday September 22 an exciting morning for those new grade niners was under way. This special grade 9 event is known as "Initiation Day". The theme this year was "surfer day" where grade nines were supposed to dress up in their beach clothes. In order to initiate, grade 12 & 13 students had to wear a tie and have their hands stamped before they could make the grade nines do things like kissing lockers, eating
pushing pennies down the hall with their noses, and other crazy sometimes embarrassing things. When Aaron Graner was asked his worst fear he replied, "I never expected to have to kiss another guy."
Craig Orvis's worst fear was simpily, "Getting initiated!!"
When Shiela Rolling was asked if she liked the idea of grade niners day she answered, "Yeah, it's been fun!!!"
All this was followed by a dance.
