tthe beginning of the school A year, you look forward to starting that wonderful course you saw in the calendar. You know, the one with all the field trips and neat activities that appealled to your sense of adventure. You soon discovered that you got tested on your ability to pick up information
while having fun . Yes, when it comes down to the crunch, it's all A Matter Of Academics. This year, teachers and students focused on how to learn so that each member could pick up their grades by practicing new-found study habits. Each stu- dent received a copy of a study guide put together by Mr. Dykstra
and Mr. Fischer. Study and home- work techniques were reviewed in each homeroom with hopes that each student would be able to im- prove his/ her academic standards. With the high percentage of layoffs in the Collingwood area, the need for a good education was never more important.
