"You know, you really look like your sister!" Have you ever heard about the idea a dog tends to resemble his master?" If a person can bear a strong likeness to someone else or take after the family pet, could it be possible for someone to form a bond with their car? This could well be possible considering the amount of time that one spends behind the wheel on any given week. Individual staff members were asked, "How are you like your car?" and their answers proved to be as varied as their models.
Consider Mr. Buie and his mini-van. He claims that both are "in need of constant atten- tion, are expensive to main- tain and each works well only part of the time!" Mr. Benbow was in total agreement. Both car and owner are "very de- pendable, very comfortable, yet spirited!" Mr. Fischer's car is "squared and boxy with lots of room. This meaning that it has a wide body like himself!" Mr. Stewart confessed that his present vehicle (he's owned approximately 140 cars!) are "cheap, practical, getting old and a little rusty!" Miss Milne and her car (according to Mr. Nickel) are "conservative and reliable!" Both Miss Harrison and her RX7 are "well- designed and expensive al- though a little worn around the edges!" Mr. Traynor and the

Mr. Simpson and vehicle are "usu- ally able to get from point A to point B: There is no problem with gas and we sometimes have a little difficulty getting started in the morning!"

A common sight on the roads today is the personalized licence plate. For a nominal fee and a little imagination, any car owner can have a carefully chosen 6 letter message placed on his/ her plates. Some of our CCI teach- ers have already followed in this popular fad. Have you ever no- ticed 'RT14U' and 'DAD 2' in our parking lots? We felt sorry for the rest of the staff who had to rely on The Ministry of Transportation to issue their combinations of let· ters and numbers and so we de- veloped some possible personal plates for them. Can you figure out each plate and match it to a specific teacher?
