This year, much to the delight of steff and students. a CCLtradition 'MJS broken when the location of the Spring Prom was moved out of the confines of the school gym and relocated 1o the breath-taking scenery surrounding Cralgleith Ski Club N; each elegantly attired lady and gent passed through the doors. they entered the world of a Monte Carlo casino and were handed 'several hun- dreds of dollars' and encouraged to try their luck at the tables N; they mOved upstairs. they encountered terrific dancefloor.asuperbhatandCOldbuffetor.~theychose, a quiet corner for conversation. Everyone 'MJS overwhelm- ed 0; the extravagant decoraftons created a; Todd Headen and Michael Doupe with assistance from Mar- line Dennts, laura Micka, stephan Downs and Candi Spllzlg. ~><; well, special thanks must gc to Mrs. stouten- burg 1or her conffnual support In making this event so successfuL

you gcing to do prior to the dancs? What about that attar Formal funcftoli? After questioning many of the par- ticipanfs, one realizes that the males dldrit have it any easier than the females.
Tammy Meesters had no problem with the quesffon of who would be her date for the evening. She went with Brent NeD, her long-standing steady boyfriend. Tara Del- fell tried a unique way of picking her escort · "I picked him out of a hat!", lorraine Macdonald and Chris Evanoff, being the liberated women that they were. went stag wrth a group of girlfriends. Orval Thompson and Kevin Hutchinson, 1wo of C.C.I:s most eligible bachelors. had the females ask them. Marsha Ptlher "'MJs asked in front of my class so I had to gc!" Once the date dilem- ma 'MJS solved, one still had to deal with the question of what to wear. Whether one chose to make their own attire, rent or purchase, the overall effect 'MJS uncnimous. The ladles of C.C.I. never looked so beautiful and the genfs so da~l!l However, such a p p e a l 'MJS expensive. rived. Jeff Hughes and Gavin Mcleod each paid $120.00 for their evening's tuxedoes. Add the cost of flowers and dinner and one had to agree that the Spring Prom was an expensive night However. everyone readi- ly admitted that this "NIGHT AT THE MOUNTAIN" was well worth it and an event that each person would remem- ber for many years to come Even the clean-up crew of Dorey Headon, Mandy Holroyd, Michelle Doupe, lisa Ople and Veronlque le Goalx looked upon 'Monte Carlo Mogle' truly as an evening of pure magic!
