JUNIORS CLIMB TO THE TOP
A late start only delayed the steady climb to stardom that our junior bad- minton team experienced. A very vet- eran squad turned in fantastic results. Jason Lang and Melissa Kern danced to a first ever GBSSA crown. Michael Dunning's experience was too much for regional rivals and he just fell short of the GB title. New players such as James, Adam, and Steve showed that even as a starter, hard work can lead to great success. It was great to see seniors like Carlie Sharp help us out this year.
SENIORS SUCCESS UNPRECEDENTED
Our senior badminton team returned in full this year. Our strong male squad maintained our previous success level. Clint MacDonald and Leanne Dyx- horne found GBSSA honours within their grasp. Scott Reasbeck and Lisa Corriveau improved to a regional champ level. It was long overdue and a great relief when Tracey Sneyd used her fitness and skills to win the GBSSA Girls crown. Another big story was Marc Allard and Andy Boughton work- ing to a Men's singles GBSSA cham- pionslhip. To all members CON- GRATULATIONS on all the effort you put into the season. - Mr. Buie
