After stepping through the doors of Craigleith Ski Club on the night of the Prom, you and your date immediately ent- ered an underwater world that would rival the writings of Jules Verne. You were greeted by a lobste,r and her mermaid companion and as you made your way to the dance floor, you encountered a wide variety of sea life as well as a sunken wreck. The highlights of this 'Evening Under the Sea' were many and varied. Jesse Bull was most impressed with "that great food bar" where a giant fish was carved out of ice. Ria Tesseris' mouth still waters at the thought of "the fondue and the huge red strawberries!" For Andrea Lacerte, the best moment came when"that funky disco tune came on and we were transported to the movie, 'Saturday Night Fever'! Even though outside, the weather continued the theme of a cold and wet world, Michelle Doupe's spirits were not dampened
in the least aa she loved "trying to sleep in the rain . clreDched tent while the music from the party was bl&rl'ing until 6 in the lllOl'Ding." Sarah Reid enjoyed the gtw.t mwdc as well as the post..Prom party which she and her date hosted. Eferyone left with a treasure cheat of fond memories of 'An Eveniug Under the Sea', only to awaken in the morn« iDg and return to the real world above the 8lll'face.
