Just before Canada celebrated her 125th birthday -and many months before the referendum vote took place, the students and staff filled the front foyer in order to sign a gigantic poster entitled, 'My Canada Includes Quebec' which would be forwarded to Ottawa. As election time neared, Mr. Wilkin- son's politics class posted signs re- flecting both sides and Stan Flint, Malcolm Harkness and Gareth Corrigan arranged for Perron Beatty to address the student body on this topic. However, on October 26., 1992, the country answered with a 'NO' in spite of the Prime Minister's strong campaign for a united country.
