GRADE 9 FACES!
Call Them 'Unique Items', Call Us Happy!
Due to the popular demand and the superb directional skills of Mr. Nor- man, C.C.I. once again put forth a tre- mendous effort in working together to organize its' Mammoth Bazaar and Yardsale, in May. (Even though the weather brought a downpour and a mo- mentary loss of hydro, nothing could dampen the activity and spirit within the walls of our school!)
The week prior to the sale saw stu- dents and staff arriving each day laden with boxes full of items for the yard sale. Some people though of it as 'junk', many termed it 'unique items' and sev- eral lucky shoppers considered it a 'lucky find'! In any case, there was something for everyone. The class that brought in the most was treated to a Chinese dinner complete with a real live Geisha girl! Mrs. Chandlers' first period students were the happy win- ners.
Due to everyones' hard work, over $8000. was raised for school activities. Congratulations to all!
