IF I RAN THE ZOO ...
Despite the feelings of fondness and loyalty we harbour for C.C.I., everyone enjoys a chance to vent frustrations. When asked to consider our school's few foibles and frailties, and suggest av- enues for change, most students responded with a resounding "shorten the school day, shorten the school week and lengthen breaks and lunch" - a likely response that won't materialize in the near future.
Some students approached less encompassing issues, such as the dress code. Michelle Lloyd figures "guys and girls should be able to wear tank tops", and Jake Reardon feels he should be "paid to go to school, sort oflike a job". On a more serious note, Aaron Cowan sees school discipline as a concern - "there is too much disobedience toward teachers and agression towards other students". Rashell Ross addresses the always frustrating dilemma of student parking: "If you arrive on time but not early enough, you won't find a parking spot".
All things considered, C.C.I. is a pretty safe and happy place to spend six and a half hours of the day, five days a week, for ten months of the year!
